Yampa Valley Medical Center will present a free program, “Everything you ever wanted to know about ACL tears, but were afraid to ask,” at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in conference room 1 at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Steamboat Springs orthopedic surgeon Dr. Eric Verploeg will discuss the ACL’s function in relation to the anatomy and physiology of the knee as well as options for treatment and outcomes for not treating tears.
