Bud Werner Memorial Library and Har Mishpacha present "Through Soviet Jewish Eyes: Photography, War and the Holocaust,” a book talk and slide show with author David Shneer. A photography exhibit is from 6 to 7 p.m. and a talk is at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 3 at Library Hall. Shneer is a history professor and director of Jewish Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. Shneer's book examines the lives and works of two dozen Jewish photographers who were empowered by the Soviet state to photograph World War II and the Holocaust. The event is free.
