3rd annual Steamboat All Arts Festival

Aug. 18
• 5 to 8 p.m. Summer Art, The Steamboat Arts Council Members Show will be on exhibit with an opening reception. This annual exhibit showcases the work of more than 25 different artists, almost all of them are Steamboat locals, Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot
• 7 p.m. Die Fledermaus, Emerald City Opera presents this comic operetta performed in English with full orchestra and singers from the New York Metropolitan Opera and other leading opera companies. $35 per ticket, Strings Music Pavillion
• 9:30 p.m. to midnight: Diva Gala & Cast Party, Join the performers for an evening of appetizers and wine immediately following Die Fledermaus. Special early price of $35 until July 31; $40 thereafter, Three Peaks Grill (Combination package: Purchase tickets for Die Fledermaus and the Diva Gala for only $60, or $70 after July 31).

Aug. 19
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Yampa River Art Stroll
• 5 to 5:30 p.m. Steamboat Art Museum Happy Half-Hour. Join a museum docent for a free guided tour of the current Scott Christensen Exhibit. Christensen is considered a premier landscape painter in America today. Refreshments will be served, and visitors will receive a 10% discount coupon toward purchase of any item in the museum’s gift shop
• 7:30 p.m. “Dirty Deeds at the Depot” Melodrama, The Steamboat Arts Council will host a melodrama staged in the 100 year old historic train depot in downtown Steamboat Springs. The show will showcase local performers. The show will have a cash bar. Tickets will cost $12/person. Seating is limited, Historic Train Depot
• 8 p.m. Red Horse, Strings Music Pavilion

Aug. 20
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Yampa River Art Stroll
• 7:30 p.m. Emerald City Opera Faculty Cabaret, Singers from leading opera companies perform an entertaining assortment of arias and show tunes. $20, Perry Mansfield Julie Harris Theater

• 9 to 11 a.m. "Breakfast at the Bookstore – The Art of Writing: a Conversation with First Time Authors". Featuring Karl Marlantes, author of Matterhorn, an independent & NYT bestseller!
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Yampa River Art Stroll
• 3 p.m. Hansel and Gretel, Stage production with small orchestra performed by the Opera Artist Institute. $15, Perry Mansfield Julie Harris Theater
• 9 p.m. Flick 'n Float: Arranged , Bud Werner Memorial Library, the Steamboat Springs Arts Council & Old Town Hot Springs present a free independent film screening in honor of the 2011 Steamboat Springs' All Arts Festival. Soak outdoors in Steamboat Springs' downtown hot springs while watching this touching multi-cultural drama directed by Stefan C. Schaefer and Diane Crespo. Film is free.
