A Steamboat community blood drive, sponsored by the Yampa Valley Medical Center auxiliary, is from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Aug. 18 at Yampa Valley Medical Center. To schedule an appointment, call Bonfils Appointment Center at 800-365-0006, option 2, or sign up online at www.bonfils.org, site code 0234. Walk-ins are welcome after 3:30 as space permits. Please eat a full meal and drink plenty of water before donating blood.
