A benefit to help with medical expenses for Steamboat Springs police Sgt. Dale Coyner, who has esophageal cancer, is at 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at Old Town Pub. A $5 cash donation will be taken at the door. The Brian Smith Band will perform at 8 p.m., and the event will include a raffle and silent auction. Donations can also be made at Mountain Valley Bank.
