Why is creativity important, and why does it peak around age four? This presentation is perfect for parents who want to learn about creativity and what their child needs to make the most of his or her creative nature. Art activities that encourage healthy child development will be shared.
Speaker: Rachel Hirning, M.A., L.P.C.
As a licensed counselor and art therapist, Rachel specializes in joining art with traditional counseling methods. Creativity plays a vital role in her work with children, teens, and adults. She has worked for over five years in the mental health field, including work in early childhood community mental health. Currently, she is in private practice in Steamboat Springs, CO.
