Steamboat Springs cardiologist Gerald Myers, MD, FACC, will present a free program Wednesday evening at Yampa Valley Medical Center. “Hypertension: A 21st Century Epidemic” will explore the health risks of high blood pressure.
“Hypertension is so pervasive, and treatment is complex with many options,” Myers said. “It’s helpful to get a perspective on it, because it is a risk factor for so many medical issues, including heart health.”
The free talk, which is sponsored by YVMC’s Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab programs, begins at 6:30 Wednesday in the hospital’s conference room 1.
