Mandala on the Yampa — Bud Werner Memorial Library
Watch the Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery construct a mandala sand painting, a rare and beautiful art form. The monks will work on the painting from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Wednesday, placing each grain of sand by hand. The library also will offer interactive community sand painting.
