Portrait-painting workshop - Steamboat Art Museum, 2 to 4 p.m.
Richard Galusha goes over the basics of painting a portrait, as part of the Steamboat Art Museum's weeklong celebration of plein air painting. The event also is part of the inaugural Steamboat All Arts Festival. FREE. Artists participating in the venue's plein air event will have work for sale during a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the museum. A barbecue, quick draw event, silent auction and live music are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, with tickets for $25.
