CMC astronomy professor Jimmy Westlake presents "Shooting the Stars" at 7:30 p.m. April 9 in Bogue Hall room 300. Westlake will share his secrets for shooting award-winning photos of the stars using only a camera and a tripod. Westlake also will demonstrate how to attach your camera to a telescope. The event is free, and door prizes will be handed out. Telescope observing will follow the indoor program.
