Colorado Mountain College hosts a free water issues workshop from 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 13 in Bogue Hall room 300. The evening workshop is designed for people who want to attain a basic knowledge about water issues and learn why water is so important in the arid West. Topics to be covered include basic state water laws, the Colorado River Compact and regional, state and national water issues. Registration is not required.
