I called today as they were still closed...they say maybe June 9. I thought they were supposed to provide free recycling if they wanted to do residential service in town? If they aren't going to provide recycling service why can't we all save some money and get competition ? City of Steamboat, are you listening?

if there machine is broke and they cannt get it fixed asap then they lose their leverage against competition coming in..besides if you really really look at your bill you will find recycling is not free..landfill surcharges fuel surcharges enviornmental surcharges..maybe its just me but that all should be factored into operateing costs
