just a question are you the same cry babies that were so pissed that the mountian didnt open when scheduled and wanted the mountian to reemburuss you for you missed skiing days.now of course keep the mountian open past closing day..you cann't have it both ways...thats why its called Mother Nature..you pay for x amount of skiing days when you buy your pass..its a gamble hopefully it will snow ifnot oh well it is intrawests fault that they didn't get the glitches worked out with thier weather machine
paddlefisher, Last fall was my most favorite ever in the Boat. Losing the first week of the season didn't bother me at all, and I certainly don't expect Ski Corp to stay open any later.

Anyone heard rumors of Interwest extending the season a week?

It is hard enough to keep enough employees until the end of the season as it is...not sure how an extension would work in that respect.

if we had less snow, I'd be ok with them closing early, but traditionally the mountain is open until the second week or April.
Sucks for Ski Corp here (and they can't keep workers because they won't hire locally and pay decent wages)
But for Intrawest its not so bad.. those of us that got the Ultimate Pass will be at Winter Park or Copper.. Intrawest screwed Steamboat if anything.
Who else is planning to ski Copper the week after we close?
