Why is it that the Pilot chooses to report on certain firings but not others? For example, you did a story on the ice rink manager but not the IS director? Who is he friends with at the paper? Seems like somebody is protecting him, which is disgusting considering what he was fired for!!!!!
Why is it that you choose to talk about one thing at a party and not another?
Why is it that when the timing is right it is right and when it is not it is not?
Why is it that someone who fancies them self as 'workerbee' is always posting on web pages during normal working hours?
Why didn't the Pilot cover the firing of a Parks and Rec worker?
Why did the Pilot cover the Finance Director leaving?
Why did the Pilot cover the Sherriff's issues?
Why didn't the Pilot cover half the lawsuits against the City this year?
Why didn't they cover all the conflicts of interest (not just one) with City Council this time around?
Wait, I have an idea: Maybe because some things are worth covering and others not? The Pilot has more often than not, covered the important stuff that comes out of the City, and if there was a story, believe me they would have found it. If the Pilot were to track down every story that was ever a story everyday it would be as thick as the NYTimes.
So workerbee where is your axe and what type of stone are you using? What is it that you are trying to do here? Do you actually know anything about this that hasn't been cycled through the Steamboat rumor mill? Are you directly involved with this?
Wait, I have another idea: On top of your axe grinding hobbies, maybe you need to feel important by taking the last rumor you heard and tacking on your own little juicy tidbit of random scandalous information so that people can look back at you and say 'wow, that workerbee really knows what's going on'. Trust me, there are better things to be known for.
Did this guy sign some sort of waver that says that everything he does get to be covered in the news paper while being open to attacks by everyone with an internet connection. Did I misread The Constitution of the United States of America when it says that everyone has the right to face their accuser (Posted by workerbee (anonymous))? Was he even fired or did he quit? Oh and with about 2 minutes of research I found a website called www.steamboatsprings.net where you can find all sorts of what I can only assume to be accurate information, the City doesn't even have a position listed as IS Director, it looks like he was the IS Manager.
