Couples announcements for November 2009



O'Meara and Olimpio

Julie O'Meara, daughter of Skip and Dolly O'Meara, and Barbara O'Meara, was married to Michael Anthony Olimpio, son of Salvatore and Connie Olimpio, on Oct. 22, 2009, at the Evergreen Lakehouse in Evergreen. Elizabeth Englert, Kris Stroemme and Megan O'Meara were bridesmaids. Salvatore Olimpio and David Olimpio were groomsmen. Amanda Englert was the flower girl. The bride is from Steamboat, and the groom is from Richardson, Texas. The couple lives in Lakewood.



Elmer and Debra Balvanz celebrated their 25th anniversary Nov. 3. The couple was married in Evergreen on Nov. 3, 1984. They have lived in Steamboat Springs for the past 14 years, and they lived in the Seattle area for 10 years before that. Elmer works at Architectural DRS & WDWS. Deb works in the pharmacy at Yampa Valley Medical Center. They have two children, Nicole, a senior at Cal-Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Andrew, a freshman at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs.


Schwall and O’Winter

Julie Green and Tom Schwall, of Steamboat Springs, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Schwall, to Thomas O’Winter, son of Carole and Patrick O’Winter, of Boulder. Emily is a 1999 graduate of The Lowell Whiteman School. She graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology in 2003. Emily is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at the University of Colorado-Denver and is seeking a degree in public health and urban and regional planning, with a degree expected in 2011. Emily works as a research assistant in exercise physiology at the University of Colorado- Denver. Thomas is a 1998 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. Thomas is enrolled in a Masters of Business Administr­ation program at the University of Colorado-Denver, with a degree expected in 2010. Thomas works as a hard goods buyer for Christy Sports. The wedding is July 31, 2010, in Steamboat Springs.


Aldighieri and Maniaci

Bobby Aldighieri and Jessica Maniaci were engaged Nov. 4, 2009, on Emerald Mountain. Jessica was born in Steamboat Springs and is the daughter of Gary and Nancy Gray. Bobby has lived in Steamboat Springs for 13 years and is the son of Joseph Aldighieri Jessica is a teacher at Holy Name Preschool, and Bobby works for Resort Ventures West/Wildhorse Meadows. He also is a 1992 Olympian. The wedding is planned for spring 2010.


Beaupre and Hall

Adam Beaupre and Sahra Hall were married in Akumal, Mexico, on Oct. 10, 2009. Sahra is a 2004 graduate of the University of Virginia and is currently employed at the Steamboat Springs Boys & Girls Club. Adam is a 2000 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School and attended the University of Virginia and the University of Denmark, where he received his MBA with a concentration in finance in 2007. Adam works for Vectra Bank in Steamboat Springs as vice president and commercial lender. A honeymoon is planned to Patagonia for early February 2010. Sahra and Adam want to thank everyone who came down to Mexico to make this one of the all-time great weddings.
