Ramos and Brim
Katrina Ramos and Kevin Brim plan to be married Nov. 17, 2007, at Santa Cruz Church in Tucson, Ariz. Katrina is the daughter of Gilbert Ramos Jr. and Odilia Ramos of Tucson and the granddaughter of Gilberto and Susana Ramos. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1999 and graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education. She is employed by Tucson Unified School District as a special education teacher. Kevin is the son of Richard and Judy Brim of Steamboat Springs. He graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1998 and from Northern Arizona University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in park and recreation management. He is employed by Desert Analytics as a lab technician. They met at an NAU Super Bowl party. Together, they enjoy sports and the great outdoors. Kevin proposed to Katrina on top of Picacho Peak.
Boyer and Wortman
Brent Patrick Boyer, the son of Gary and Cathy Boyer of Fairfax Station, Va., and Megan Lyn Wortman, the daughter of Mark and Deborah Wortman of Elkhorn, Neb., are pleased to announce their engagement. Brent proposed to Meg on May 1 on a beach outside of Punakaiki, New Zealand. Brent is a 2002 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor of science in journalism. Meg is a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of journalism in news editorial. Brent is the city editor of the Steamboat Pilot & Today newspaper and the editor of At Home in Steamboat Springs magazine. Meg is the news editor of the Steamboat Pilot & Today and the Craig Daily Press. The couple plans to wed next summer in Steamboat Springs, where they will continue to reside after the wedding.
