Emery and Kabacinski
Sarah Frances Emery, daughter of Mary Wagoner of Omaha, Neb., is engaged to be married to Joseph Thomas Kabacinski, son of Joni and Raymond Kabacinski of Virginia Beach, Va. Sarah graduated from Colorado State University and works as a teacher at Laurel Street School in Steamboat Springs. Joseph graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and works as an electrician at Delta Electric. Following is Sarah's account of the night they became engaged: On Dec. 24, Joe and I headed up to the mountain to snowboard in the fresh powder. After a perfect day of riding together, we headed home to our cozy house outside of town. I was putting our snow clothes away when Joe asked me to join him in the other room. I sat down next to him, and he asked how much I loved him. I started to ramble on like usual because we always have expressed to each other how much we mean to one another. Midway through my speech of love, he pulled out a beautiful diamond ring and placed it on my finger. It was so perfect, and I couldn't imagine being with a more loving man.
