Samuel Emmitt Nicholson, son of Rebecca Nicholson and Deyne Nicholson, of Clark, was born at 12:16 a.m. April 16, 2012, at Yampa Valley Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 18.5 inches long. His grandparents are David and Ann Nicholson, of Klawock, Alaska; Diana Nicholson, of Fort Collins; Roman and Annette Dybas, of Chesterton, Ind; and Lloyd and June Anderson, of La Porte, Ind. Jason Arthur Powell, son of Katie Powell and Lynn Powell, of Hayden, was born at noon April 16, 2012, at Yampa Valley Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21.75 inches long. His siblings are Mason Brewer, Lane Powell and Kody Powell. His grandparents are Randy and Mary Sue Brewer, of Hayden; Calvin Powell, of Deer Lodge, Mont.; and Beverly More, of Hayden.
